During the 2020 quarantine, I was able to create an online sketch class that was highly successful. Anyone from anywhere was able join. At the time made isolation bearable, it connected us in a whole different way. We were able to draw in our own space from different time zones. Across space and time :)
Quarantine is now over. It has been for a while, but online learning is still being used. Online classes have opened a new powerful avenue in education. Granted, it is not for everyone, but what it does offer is unparalleled. Imagine watching a live poetry reading, in your cozy living room as it's being read by author in whole different continent. Or being able to review information at your own speed or at whenever you wanted, in your favorite chair.
This class offers you a great way to join a community of artists from around the world (potentially) and create artwork using the figure as a subject. Treat yourself to this immersive creative experience. We will work from a pre-recorded model session on Zoom. You will be able to download and review sessions as you please.
Join me this November as we discuss Form and Construction. This month we will focus on imaginative three dimensional forms and how we can use them as enclosures for our figures. Homework for those have time.
